Dear AIAA National Capital Section members:
Nominations are now open for the National Capital Section Engineer of the Year Award.
A premier award of the National Capital Section (NCS) is the Engineer of the Year Award. This award is presented to a local AIAA member who has made a recent (within the past two years) individual contribution in the application of scientific and mathematical principles leading to a significant accomplishment or event worthy of AIAA's national or international recognition. The NCS Engineer of the Year recipient will represent the National Capital Section for consideration by AIAA Honors and Awards Committee for the overall AIAA Engineer of the Year Award. This year’s Regional Engineer of the Year award will be presented at the Annual Awards Banquet on June 18, 2009.
Please consider nominating a colleague for the NCS Engineer of the Year Award. Nominations are due by May 22, 2009.
