Summary:

The National Capital Section Advertising Policy for the web site benefiting the members, local organizations and companies.

NCS reserves the right to reject inappropriate submissions. Companies and organizations must be aerospace related or provide services to the aerospace industry and have a presence in the greater Washington Metropolitan area.

1 Employment Opportunities:

Free to NCS Members


1.1 Notices of Employment opportunities in the Washington Metropolitan Area will be accepted from reputable organizations, that are in need of qualified AIAA-NCS aerospace personnel.


1.1 Organizations wishing to post employment opportunities shall send the notice in Word, Wordperfect or HTML format to the web site manager (See contacts listed at bottom of page). Employment opportunities will be posted for a maximum of 30 days, then removed. However, the hiring organizations may request additional 30 day postings.


1.2 Anyone interested in applying for any of the employment opportunities should apply directly to the organization per the instructions provide by that organization. The AIAA-NCS does not endorse or support the employment opportunities in any way. The NCS will not forward correspondence/applications to the employing organization.


1.3 Notices will be sent to all NCS members and organizations periodically announcing the availability of employment opportunities.

2 Consultants Corner

Free to NCS Members


2.1 The NCS provides the “Consultants Corner” which allows a ½ page summary of a consultants credentials and services to be placed on the NCS web site. Those seeking the services of the consultant shall contact the consultant directly. The consultants will be listed in alphabetical order and placed on the NCS web site for 1 year. The services must be professional in nature and relevant to the NCS members and organizations. Submit the ½ page application in Word, Wordperfect or HTML to the web master (See contacts listed at bottom of page).

2.2 NCS Consultant Corner

3. Event Support

Advertising Fee


3.1 The NCS will place the names of the companies/organizations on the NCS Web Site meeting announcements when the companies/organizations purchase a table or sponsor a display at the NCS luncheon or other NCS sponsored events. A link to the company/organization’s web site will also be included. Please provide this information to NCS Administrator per the instructions for that particular event.


As an example:

Companies Sponsoring one or more tables/displays.


Supported by ABC Corp., or Logo (will include a link to the companies web site of choice).


3.2 The NCS will place the names of the companies/organizations on the NCS Web Site meeting announcements when the companies/organizations sponsor the event or donate to the event (e.g. Science Fairs) The cost will be determined by the NCS event manager.


As an example:


Event Sponsored by ABC Corp., or Logo (will include a link to the companies web site of choice).

3.3 NCS Event Support Web Site

4 NCS Support

Advertising Fee


4.1 NCS Support - Basic. Advertising placed on NCS web site which is not specific to any event. The funds will be used for NCS in accordance with NCS policy. The Companies/organizations will be listed in alphabetical order with Companies/organizations web site. The company/organizaton shall send the notice in Word, Wordperfect or HTML format to the web site manager (See contacts listed at bottom of page).

4.2 Cost is be $400 per year. Funds to be sent to the NCS Treasurer.

4.3 NCS Support - Basic


4.4 NCS Support - Expanded. NCS will provide one page space for Company/organization Capabilities. The one page advertisement will be provided by the company/organization in Word, Wordperfect or HTML to the web site manager (See contacts listed at bottom of page), subject to approval of the NCS executive committee. General format will be the Name/Logo of the Company/organization followed by the advertising copy and web site links. The pages will be listed in alphabetical order. Company/Capabilities web site page.

4.5 Cost is $500 per year. Funds to be sent to the NCS Treasurer.
